Directors of Spa Jelita Malaysia

Dr Fadilah graduated from the National University of Singapore (NUS) in 1987 with Bachelor of
Arts, 2nd Class Honors degree in Economics.

She started her career in Singapore Press Holdings (SPH) as a business journalist, writing economics and
business stories for Berita Harian / Berita Minggu and rose to become the Business Editor, taking charge
of the business desk known as Ekoniaga.

Throughout her 27 years in Berita Harian, Ms Fadilah covered local and overseas assignments. She
travelled extensively to America, Europe, Malaysia, Taiwan, Korea and Indonesia to cover international
meetings and conferences – including Leaders/Ministerial Meetings.

After 27 years as a Business Editor, she decided to leave a comfortable job to enter the business world.
She bought over Spa Jelita in May 2014. Spajelita has been an established brand and is the only Arabian
spa in Singapore.

She decided to expand Spajelita into Malaysia in 2024 to tap into the extensive Malaysian market.

She is currently the Vice President of Singapore Malay Chamber of Commerce and Industry in
Singapore. She is also heading the women’s wing of SMCCI ,Dewi and the chairman of the membership
committee of SMCCI .

Besides running a spa, Ms Fadilah is also the director (business development) of Bizmedia Publishing, a
translation and media services company, founded by her and partners in May 2014.

She is also the marketing manager of a family cafe , Hamidah’s Kitchen , which is founded in 2020.

She has been recognized with numerous awards, including the Outstanding Women Award in 2021 by
IKSnita Sabah and The Muslim World Rania Award at the Muslim World Women’s Summit 2024.

She was awarded Honorary Doctorate from Universal Institute of Professional Management (UIPM) on
January 31, 2024, at the prestigious Royale Chulan KL Hotel, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

This Doctorate award symbolises recognition of individuals who have not only achieved excellence in
their specific domains but have also emerged as inspiring figures for others to emulate.

Datin Sri Wahinah

Datin Sri Wahinah binti Haroon Rasheed
is a full-time homemaker turned
entrepreneur. She’s passionate about
wellness as a holistic approach. She is also
the chairperson of a government-linked
organization’s women’s wing since 2016.
She believes that beauty comes from
within and hence indulges herself into
the spa business.

Ms Nurlaila

Ms Nurlaila Rashid graduated from
the University of London (UOL) in
2011 with Bachelor of Accountancy
and Finance.

She had the opportunity to gain experience at
Navig8, a shipping firm in Singapore as her first
step to a full-time career. She held the position
of an executive for 8 years and honed her skills.

In 2018, she decided to take a leap and join Spa
Jelita (Singapore) as Assistant Managing
Director. She deals with the spa’s Accounting
as well as Human Resources matters –
essentially the backend work that keeps the
spa running behind the scenes. Through her
experience, she has expanded her horizons by
applying her skills at a managerial level. She
has enjoyed her time due to the opportunity to
make decisions for the betterment of the
company.

Working behind the scenes, she continued to
look into the areas of improvement in terms of
system operations amongst many aspects to
provide the best for our customers.

Ms Wafeeqa

Ms Nur Wafeeqa graduated from
Heriot-Watt University Putrajaya
with Bachelor of Science in
Psychology with Honors in 2023.

Since 2021, she was in charge of marketing
for a small online homemade food business
named “Safronz” where customer
engagement and promotion were part of
her duty.

She did her internship at the SOCSO
Rehabilitation Centre in Malacca, which
specializes in rehabilitating employees who
had experienced misfortunes, to make
them fit for work again.

During her internship, she experienced
multiple social situations with various kinds
of people, of many age and cultural groups.
Due to her background, in customer
engagement, social interactions, and her
psychological knowledge of individuals
along with her utmost belief in the
importance of self-care, can ensure a
positive and satisfying experience for
customers of Spajelita.

Experience Spa Jelita’s serene atmosphere and embrace our
refined spa etiquette, ensuring a tranquil retreat for all guests.

Appointment Booking:

At SpaJelita, peak hours are in the mornings and
weekends, so book as far in advance as possible in order
to ensure getting the particular time, day, and therapist
you want. If you will be attending the spa with a voucher,
it is a good idea to mention it so that the spa can advise
you of any policy that may affect its use.

Cancellations:

If you must cancel an appointment, please give us as
much advance notice as possible. Approximately 48
hours’ notice is minimum to cancel a single service. Please
note that for Saturday, Sunday and Public holiday
appointments, a treatment booked will still be considered
redeemed if cancelled less than 48 hours’ prior to the
treatment.

Therapists:

All of our experienced therapists are well trained to deliver
consistent treatment quality and care. However, if you
have a preference, don’t hesitate to let us know. However,
do realize that your first choice may not always be
available.

Medical conditions:

If you have any type of medical condition, be sure to
mention it when you book an appointment. Certain
treatments may not be advisable for you. Also, before your
treatment begins, let your therapist know of any medical
concerns.

Punctuality:

Arrive on time or early. If you are late, your treatment time
may need to be shortened since the treatment room (and
therapist) is generally booked after your session. After a
treatment, it’s customary to vacate the room within five or
ten minutes. Do note that we have special vanity corner
for your touch up needs.

Mobile phones:

The spa environment is a tranquil and stress-reducing
experience, we encourage you to turn your mobile
phones to silent while visiting the spa.

Arrival:

If this is your first visit, please plan to arrive at least 10
minutes before your scheduled appointment. This is so
that we can explain the spa facility and services to you
and in addition, you are required to complete a simple
questionnaire and to provide us with your medical and
contact information.

Socializing:

When in the relaxation room and elsewhere in the spa, be
mindful of others. Keep conversations at a low volume.

Spa Wear:

During your time at SpaJelita, you will be provided with a
locker, towels and slippers. Disposable undergarments are
also available.

Children:

Young children are generally not encouraged at the spa
as we aim to provide a tranquil and relaxing environment
as much as possible for our guests. However, we do
provide a waiting area complete with wireless internet.
